For requests submitted on or before 10:00am on Tuesday, payments will be made on Thursday and funds will be available on Friday, subject to the processing of the bank.
Please note, there could be delays when the Finance Department experiences a significant number of requests within a short time. Please plan ahead of your expenses and avoid last-minute requests.
Currently, for payment claims, it takes two weeks to process and pay a student when a claim has been authorised by the second user.
Invoices and Online orders have reduced waiting times as they are easier to process and require less checks and administration from the finance department.
Invoices are the most recommended form of payment, and you should communicate with your suppliers that this is the most appropriate option. Other options can have delays due to the deviation from procedure.
A charge of £2.50 will be levied for same day payment request to cover bank charges.
