A jury is made up of 18 semi-randomly selected students, which reflect the wider member demographic as much is possible, representing the voice of students. The Juries consider ideas or policies that have been submitted by our members which the Union Executive deem to be ‘contentious.’ Students are asked to submit evidence for the Jurors to consider, the jury will then be presented with a balanced set of evidence to give them all the information they need to reach a decision. The Jury can set the policy of the Union, refer policy to preferendum of the members or reject ideas.
