Why can’t I add members to the committee?

You can only add members to the
committee if they are currently members of the group. If you are unsure as to
whether they are a member or not, they should be in one of the “user groups”
for your group

I you cannot find the person than the the post may not be active yet. You
can only assign members to active posts. To check if the post is active:
- Click on 'Configure Groups' and 'Edit'
- Navigate your way to 'Committee', 'Manage Posts'

If the start date/time for that post is in the future, then
it is not active

If the end date/time for that post is in the past, then it is not
active
