All employees, officers and volunteers of the students' union, including college officers/PG Board etc. who use either students' union computers or the University network must comply with the ISS regulations.

Breaches of the policy will be treated as a disciplinary offence and in the case of staff and sabbatical officers can be treated as gross misconduct. Failure to adhere to the policy could also result in action by the university.

Please note that under the terms of the Lawful Business Practice 2000, employers have the right to monitor or record internal and external telephone calls, email transmission and the use or misuse of the internet by their employees. If the union chooses to exercise this right, employees will be informed through various communications.
