All members of staff have an implied duty of trust that any confidential information, seen by them or made known to them, during the course of their duties will not be divulged to any inappropriate source either internal or external, or used for any other purpose other than its intended use.
If any member of staff is unsure about the appropriateness of information to be passed on or to be used for another purpose, please seek confirmation from your Line Manager or a member of the management team.
Disclosure of information deemed to be confidential by a member of staff may lead to disciplinary action being taken.
